A clean house makes a better first impression and convinces buyers that the house has been well cared for.
A neat and clean front entry creates a positive first impression. A freshly painted door and trim with sturdy hardware add a welcome touch. Replace faded house numbers with new ones. Make sure the doorbell is in working order.
Get rid of clutter. Throw out stacks of newspapers and magazines.
